Beginner's Guide: From Day One to Level 120
Alesta2 Mobile is a classic online MMORPG played on phones, with levels 1-120, 3 kingdoms, 4 classes and 2 skill paths per class. A new character starts with an enchanted +9 starter set, a ready horse and reward chests that unlock as you level up. This guide tells you where to go at each level, how to earn your first Yang and what each village NPC does.
Step by step
- Choose kingdom and class
Create your account, pick the same kingdom as your friends and a class that suits you. - Use the starter pack
Check the equipped +9 set, summon the horse with the Soldier Horse Book, wear the orange rings, open Apprentice Chest I. - Pick a skill path at level 5
Talk to the class master in the village, choose one of the two paths and spend your skill points. - Hunt around the village until level 15
Do the quests and break your first Metin stones; at level 15 you get 5m Yang and 3 days of auto hunt. - Follow the route
Move to the map for your level, hunt Metin stones and bosses, and enter dungeons with tickets. - Upgrade your gear
Bring items to +9 at the Blacksmith, then transform them into the next item (Upgrade guide).
1. Choose your kingdom
There are three kingdoms. The choice is per account; pick the same kingdom as your friends so you start in the same village and can hunt together.
- Shinsoo (red): Yongan Area (Shinsoo), second village Yayang Area (Shinsoo)
- Chunjo (yellow): Joan Area (Chunjo), second village Bokjung Area (Chunjo)
- Jinno (blue): Pyungmoo Area (Jinno), second village Bakra Area (Jinno)
2. Choose your class

There are 4 classes, each playable as female or male (8 characters). You pick your skill path at level 5 from the class master in the village.
| Class | Play style | Skill paths |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Melee, high HP. The easiest start on a phone. | Body (attack) · Mental (defence) |
| Ninja | Fast melee with daggers or ranged attacks with a bow. | Blade fight · Archery |
| Sura | Mixes sword and dark magic, strong self-buffs. | Weaponry · Black Magic |
| Shaman | Ranged magic with fan or bell; heals and buffs the party. | Dragon Force · Healing |
Status points: strength + vitality for warrior and sura, dexterity for ninja, intelligence for shaman. The Lycan (Wolfman) class is not available in this game.
3. Starter pack
A new character does not start empty. As soon as you log in you get:
- An enchanted +9 first-tier weapon and armour set for your class, already equipped (helmet, shield, shoes, bracelet, necklace and earrings included).
- Potions and helpers: Red Potion (S) ×5, Blue Potion (S) ×5, Sun Elixir (L), Moon Elixir (L), Wind Shoes, Green Potion (L), Purple Potion (L), Bravery Cape.
- A timed starter costume and hairstyle.
- A ready horse: summon it with Military Horse Book; horse level 21, horse skills at Perfect (P).
- Four orange rings for 3 days on your first login: Orange Athos Ring (3d) · Orange Nazar Amulet (3d) · Orange Strong Lolipop (3d) · Orange Love Amulet (3d). The timer starts when you receive them.
- A chain of reward chests: Apprentice Chest I (Lv1) → Apprentice Chest II (Lv30) → Expert Chest I (Lv55) → Expert Chest II (Lv75) → Master Chest I (Lv90) → Master Chest II (Lv105). Each chest gives potions, dungeon tickets and the next chest, which opens at the level shown.
- At level 15: 5m Yang and 3×
Daily Auto Hunt Ticket (1 day) (once per account).
4. Level 1-120 route
Experience and drop chance depend on the level gap: monsters far below you drop almost nothing. Hunt monsters between 5 levels below and 5 levels above you.
- Break Metin stones: a stone summons monsters around it and drops loot when it breaks. Each stone's own page lists what it drops.
- Dungeons need a ticket; tickets are sold by the Dungeon Ticket Seller in the village and also come from reward chests. Every dungeon has a minimum level and a cooldown.
- Form a party: experience is shared and you get a group bonus.
5. Your first Yang
- Bosses and Metin stones drop
Soul Stone,
Zen Bean and
Magic Stone. High-level recipes need thousands of them, so they always sell on the player market. - Upgrade materials (pearls, crystals, herbs) and skill books sell well too.
- Open your own shop and keep selling while offline; the Remote Shop lets you browse shops without walking to the village.
- Before selling an item you do not know, search it in the wiki: it shows where it drops and what it is used for.
6. Village NPCs
| NPC | What it does |
|---|---|
| Blacksmith | Upgrades weapons, armour and jewellery from +0 to +9; at +9 it performs the transformation into the next item. Stone and jewellery recipes too. See Upgrade guide. |
| General Store | Potions, |
| Weapon / Armour dealer | Low-level +9 weapons, armour and jewellery. |
| Upgrade Material dealer | The monster materials and pearls the Blacksmith asks for at +7, +8 and +9. |
| Biologist Chaegirab | Biologist quests from level 30: bring the requested item, get a permanent attack/defence bonus. |
| Book Seller | Turns skill book chests into passive skill books; combines Soul Stones and scrolls into higher versions. |
| Seon-Hae | Turns collected |
| Alchemist | Dragon beans and duration essence. |
| Huahn-So (second village) | Dragon god potions, dews and herb waters. |
| Stable Boy | Horse, mount and pet matters; higher mount/pet recipes. |
| Teovahdan | Shoulder sashes and the aura outfit (for Fine Cloth). |
| Dungeon Ticket Seller | All dungeon tickets. |
| Ore dealer | Ores you set into jewellery. |
| Storekeeper | Storage: keeps your items and Yang, shared by the characters of one account. |
7. Auto hunt and 3 accounts
- Auto hunt needs a ticket:
Daily Auto Hunt Ticket (1 day) (1 day),
Weekly Auto Hunt Ticket (7 days) (7 days),
Monthly Auto Hunt Ticket (30 days) (30 days). Time runs in real time and tickets stack. - You get 3 days free at level 15; more tickets are in the in-game Item Mall.
- Auto hunt does not stop when you die, it revives and continues; it stops when you teleport or change map or channel.
- Up to 3 accounts can stay in game at the same time in one app (2 on phones with 3 GB RAM or less).
