Setup: Windows (PC)

  1. Download and run the launcherOpen the AlestaMT2-Kurulum file (no admin rights needed). If Windows warns you, choose More info › Run anyway.
  2. Choose a folderC:\AlestaMT2 is recommended. The launcher and the game go into the same folder; if you installed the game from the ZIP before, choose that folder and it won't be downloaded again.
  3. Start from the desktop shortcutAlways start the game from the Alesta MT2 shortcut (the launcher). The launcher updates itself and the game automatically.
  4. Automatic repairGame files are checked on every start; damaged or modified files are repaired automatically.

Setup: Android

  1. Open Google PlayTap the Google Play badge above; the Alesta MT2 page opens.
  2. InstallTap Install. Updates arrive automatically through Google Play.
  3. First launchOn first launch the game downloads about 1 GB of content (maps, characters, effects). Connect to Wi-Fi and keep the screen on. This only happens once.
  4. Log inLog in with the account name and password you created on the website, pick a channel and create your character.

System requirements

Windows (PC)

A constant internet connection is needed while playing (mobile data is fine; a few MB per hour). If your phone gets hot or stutters, set graphics quality to Low in the game settings and turn off battery saver.

Troubleshooting

Windows says "Windows protected your PC" (PC)

This is Windows SmartScreen's warning for less common programs. Click More info, then Run anyway. If your antivirus deletes the file, add the install folder (e.g. C:\AlestaMT2) to its exclusions and download the launcher again. Only download the file from this page.

The download screen sits at one percentage (e.g. 7%) for a long time

The first packs are large; on a slow connection the percentage may not move for a while. Wait 2-3 minutes. If it still doesn't progress, fully close the game (swipe it away from recent apps) and reopen it: what's already downloaded is kept and it resumes where it stopped. Stuck on mobile data? Switch to Wi-Fi. Stuck on Wi-Fi? Restart your router or briefly try mobile data.

"Not enough space" or the download fails halfway

You need at least 1.5 GB of free space. Back up photos/videos to free up room, then reopen the game. No need to uninstall — the download resumes where it stopped.

"App not installed" error

If your phone has an old Alesta MT2 (APK) downloaded from the website, its signature differs from the Google Play version and they conflict: uninstall the old Alesta MT2 and install again from Google Play. Your account and characters live on the server, nothing is lost.

"A new version is ready, please update" message

Update from Google Play (Play Store › Alesta MT2 › Update). If you're using an old APK downloaded from the website, uninstall it first, then install from Google Play — your account and characters live on the server, nothing is lost.

I can't log in / "Wrong password"

Account names are lowercase. Too many wrong attempts in a short time lock logins for a few minutes for security; wait 5 minutes and try again. Forgot your password? See Forgot Password.

"You cannot log in to this account from this device" (device limit)

An account can be used on at most 2 devices (account security and anti-cheat). If you changed phones, write to support with your account name; after verification your device record is reset. Details: FAQ.

The game closes or freezes on launch

Restart your phone and close background apps. If it persists, send your phone model and Android version to support. Setting graphics to Low fixes it on most phones.
