General

What is Alesta MT2?

A classic MMORPG you play on your phone: the 2008 feel, the early-days rules. Aspendos 1-120 medium grind · Altay hard grind (opened at 1-75, later 99), 4 channels on each server: the maps you know, classic drop/bonus rates and upgrade recipes, no edited items. The controls were rebuilt from scratch for phones (joystick, skill arc, two-finger zoom).

What does "effort server" mean?

A server where you earn items and levels by playing, not by paying. The starter bag depends on the server (see "What do I get at the start?" below); a ready bonused set exists only on Aspendos, on Altay every bonus is earned by grinding. Everything in the Item Shop can also be earned in game through effort — those who pay save time, those who put in the effort get to the same place. Valuable items (Blessing Scroll, Enchant Item, Soul Stone) are rare; the economy runs on the player market. The pace is still tuned so it doesn't get tiring: playing 3-4 hours a day, you reach level 99 in about 2 months.

Does it cost money?

No. Registration, download and play are free. Everything in the Item Shop can also be earned in game through effort — those who pay save time, those who put in the effort get to the same place. There is no wheel of fortune.

Is there an iPhone (iOS) version?

Android only for now. We will let you know in the news when the iOS version is ready.

Can I play on a computer?

Yes. Use the Windows (PC) client on the Download page with the same account and the same characters. One account can be played from only one place at a time.

Installation and download

Why does it download again on first launch?

The app is kept small; maps, characters and effects (~1 GB) are downloaded on first launch. This happens once; after that only updated files are downloaded. Wi-Fi is recommended.

The download is stuck at 7% (or another percentage)

Wait 2-3 minutes; with large packages the percentage may not change for a while. If it doesn't move, close the game completely and open it again — what was downloaded is not deleted, it continues where it left off. Switching your connection (Wi-Fi ↔ mobile data) often helps too. Details: troubleshooting.

What should I do when an update comes out?

If the game says "A new version is ready", update from Google Play (the badge on the Download page). If you have an old APK installed from the website, uninstall it first. Your characters are not lost. Small content updates download by themselves inside the game.

My phone gets hot / lags

Set the graphics quality to Low in the game settings and turn off battery saver. Phones with less than 3 GB of RAM may stutter.

Account and security

On how many devices can I use one account?

One account can be used on at most 2 devices (e.g. your phone and your tablet). If you try to log in from a third device, you get a "You cannot log in to this account from this computer" warning. This rule prevents account theft and multiple cheat accounts. If you changed or lost your phone, write to the support team with your username; once ownership of the account is verified, your device registration is reset.

I entered the wrong password too many times and can't log in

After many wrong attempts in a short time, logins are blocked for a few minutes for security. Wait 5 minutes and try again with the correct password. Remember that your username is lowercase.

I forgot my password

Follow the steps on the Forgot Password page. You need the e-mail address you registered with.

What is the character deletion code?

The 7-digit code you are asked for when deleting a character. You set it when registering; you can view and change it on the My Account page.

Can I give my account to a friend?

No. Account sharing and account trading are forbidden; losses on shared accounts are not refunded. See the Rules.

Gameplay

Is there auto hunt?

Yes, it runs on an Auto Hunt Ticket: Daily (1 day), Weekly (7 days) or Monthly (30 days). The timer starts when you use the ticket and runs in real time; a new ticket adds to the time left. There is no daily hour limit. Tickets are in the Item Shop: Aspendos 15 / 75 / 250 EP (also buyable with Effort Points), Altay 25 / 120 / 400 EP. On Altay every new character starts with a 7-day ticket; on Aspendos you get 3 Daily tickets at level 15, and high-level bosses can drop tickets too.

What are the level cap and rates?

The level cap is 120 on Aspendos. Altay opened at 1-75; just like the early days, its cap rises step by step to 99. The stat cap is 90 (no status points after Lv90, skill points every level — the classic rule). Drop and bonus rates are classic. On Aspendos upgrade success rates are a bit higher and items don't burn at low pluses; on Altay the Blacksmith uses the classic table. Temporary boosts during events are announced.

What do I get at the start?

It depends on the server. Altay: a +6 class weapon, 50,000 Yang, 2,000 each of Red and Blue Potion (L), a 7-day Auto Hunt Ticket, a Teleportation Ring and 1,000 Bravery Capes (the ticket, ring and capes cannot be sold or traded). Aspendos: a bonused +9 set for your class, a level 21 horse, potions and timed items; the full list is on the Wiki › Beginner's Guide page. Everything else comes from playing.

How do I read a Skill Book, and why did it fail?

Classic rule: each reading succeeds with a 35% chance, needs 20,000 experience points, uses up the book and requires an 18-30 hour wait. An Exorcism Scroll skips the wait, Concentrated Reading makes the reading certain. Details: Guide.

I lost my item at the Blacksmith, can I get it back?

No; a failed upgrade at the Blacksmith destroys the item (classic rule). Upgrade valuable items with a Blessing Scroll: on failure they only drop by one level.

I found a bug or a cheater, where do I report it?

Whisper a GM in game. Include your username, character name, channel, time and a screenshot. Exploiting bugs is forbidden; reporters may be rewarded.
